Robby Anderson Arrested For Second Time in a year
Robby Anderson was arrested for the second time in a year, and to be quite honest with you I don’t remember his first arrest. This is probably because he wasn’t coming off a break out season, and he didn’t threaten to “nut” in the officer’s wife’s eye the first time around. After reading some stories about the whole situation, two things popped out to me, one is that he is an incredibly reckless driver, and two to say what he allegedly did not under the influence of alcohol or other drugs is a crazy person move. When you first read the story your mind immediately says to it self that he must have been drunk or maybe on some sort of pain killers because that’s the only logical explanation to someone saying something like that to a police officer. However the fact he was sober is almost more concerning, I love the way he plays and I love the big play ability he has shown, but having this kind of wild card personality, I wouldn’t think would be good for a NFL locker room. I don’t know what the Jets will do, my guess is they will try to get the whole story and then make a decision from there, but this doesn’t look good for Robby’s NY Jet future. I was looking forward to seeing Robby Anderson, Jermaine Kearse and Quincy Enunwa together on the field next year with Fitzmagic slinging the rock around the yard, but I don’t think I will see that day. This isn’t a good start to the Jets preseason which was slated as one of the most important ones in recent memory as many expect them to address the quarterback position long term. As the Patriots are on their way to play in their 10th Super Bowl in franchise history the Jets continue to be a franchise in disarray, I’m changing my prediction for them next season from 15-1 to 13-3.
