Welcome back to another additions of Big Dogs picks, this week we have a full slate of games to bet. Last week we got a better idea of what teams really are and saw some injuries that could affect the match-ups this week. Without further ado onto the picks:
Denver @ Baltimore (-6)
When I’m going through my picks I like to think where I would set the line and what I think the score of a game is going to be. This is a game where I think the Bronco are going to win, I think they are the superior team, I think the Ravens only win was against the Bills and I was shocked to see them as 6 point favorites. I’m on the Broncos in this game to not only cover but I’m also gonna sprinkle a little on money line which is +205. Broncos 27 Ravens 19
Indy @ Philly (-6.5)
Carson Wentz expected to be back for this one, so you know the Philly crowd will be excited. Both teams have injuries that could come into play in this game. Eagles are banged up at the running back position which will put some added pressure on Wentz. On the Colts side of the ball you have a few starters out, including the starting Tackle and TE. With Philly’s defensive line you never want to go into a game missing key blockers. I think Philly covers this one and I think the game stays under the 45.5 total. Philly 21 Colts 10
Bengals @ Panthers (-2.5)
Both teams come in a little banged up with Joe Mixon being out for the Bengals and Trai Turner being out for the Panthers. At first I was only planning to give out the over as a pick, I think the Bengals have high powered offense and look for Gio Bernard to have a big day. I think the Panthers are able to score in bunches and I think the Bengals defense isn’t very stout. However after thinking about it some more I’m also going to be on the Panthers -2.5 in this game. You don’t bet against a city just coming off a hurricane. Panthers 35 Bengals 24.
LAC @ LAR (-7.5)
The battle for LA. Usually when an LA team is home all you see is the opposing teams colors, so this game might not have anyone in attendance cause no one in LA gives a shit about football. I think the Rams win by double digits, I think their offense and defense are going to be too much for Philip and his 13 kids. LAR 27 LAC 17
DAL @ SEA (PK)
Hand up I was wrong about Dallas last week, I still don’t think they are a great team, but I also think Seattle is a bad team. Their defense go to Eli 6 times last week and going up against another bad offensive line will allow them to reek havoc yet again. With Doug Baldwin and KJ Wright being out still and now this ordeal with Earl Thomas who was at practice Friday but didn’t participate despite not being on the injury report. The Seahawks just seems to be in disarray and are a shell of their former selves. Look for the Cowboys to win here moving the Seahawks to 0-3. Cowboys 26 Seahawks 20
