Glad to have NBA back to fill in the gaps during the middle of the week when there is no football. We have the Sixers taking on the Celtics and the Warriors taking on OKC. Now I never claim to be an expert in any sport, least of all basketball, but I think the O/U totals for these games are crazy high. The Sixers and the Celtics both had top 5 defenses last year, and the both are going to have different starting lineups than what they ended the season with. In my head I was thinking the line would be set at 198, maybe 201, but 211 just seems high. As for the Warriors game, Russ Westbrook isn’t going to be playing tonight, and the O/U is set at 220.5. I know the Warriors will put on a show but they are also going to be resting their starters with a triple digit lead come the 4th quarter. Now usually when betting NBA I’m not a fan of betting the Under just because it’s more fun to root for points, but on opening night I think we get two low scoring games.
