We’ve been on a bit of a cold streak of late, losing yesterday, going 5-6 last week, it just hasn’t been going the Big Dogs way. I know whats been going on though I’ve been in my own head. I am over thinking my picks and not following my greatest asset, my gut. I went through this weeks slate of games, I handicapped them myself before even looking at the official lines. Below are my picks, my readers deserve winners and I am dedicated to bringing you them. Having said that I hate this weeks slate of games, when I was going through them I liked all the overs and wasn’t a fan of any of the spreads. I wanted to do a little research so I went back to last years Week 13 match ups to see how they finished. Last year, 8 games went over and 8 went under and in 9/16 match ups the underdogs were able to cover the spread. I don’t know I just feel like the Saints game really got in my head because I was second guessing myself. Right before the game started I wanted to go back into my blog and change my pick to the under but I stuck with my initial thought and I couldn’t have been more off. I’m gonna take a break from this blog here and just jump right back in with my picks. I gotta do some more thinking.
Ravens @ Falcons (-2.5)
Ravens opened this one as 2.5 point favorites but are currently 2.5 point underdogs. They have been playing well since Jackson came in and the Falcons are basically playing for nothing at this point. I like the Ravens to win outright here but I’ll take the points that are given. Pick: Ravens + 2.5 Prediction: Bal 24 ATL 20
Arizona @ Green Bay (-13.5)
When I saw the total for this game it made me do a double take. I know Arizona is trash but they have gone over in 5 of their last 7 games. However upon further review they have gone over because the other team usually is putting up 30+ points. I was all over the over then I looked at the weather in Green Bay and it’s going to be cold, snowy and windy. That’s Packer football weather. The Cardinals are soft and will want no part of being at this game and will lose by 2+ touchdowns. Pick: Green Bay -13.5 Prediction: GB 25 Ari 3
Carolina @ Tampa Bay (+4)
How many times will I bet on the Panthers and be let down? I don’t know but we might find out this year, because I’m all over the Panthers again this week. Tampa Bay stinks, Winston stinks and they will get blown out here. Pick: Panthers -4 Prediction: Car 30 TB 20
Kansas City @ Oakland (+15)
The Chiefs did the right thing in cutting Hunt, he’s a scum bag and I hope he never gets a job again in the NFL. Lucky KC has noted good guy Tyreek Hill in the locker room to ensure nothing like this ever happens again. I’m taking the over in this game, 54 with two shit defenses is to low not to take the over. Pick: Over 54 Prediction: KC 35 Oak 21
