I am done making excuses for my mediocre performance. Although I really didn’t like the board last week so going 4-3 is actually pretty solid. Also I wasn’t home when I wrote the Thursday night blog so that really shouldn’t count against me. I also have been dealing with pretty bad allergies and have ran out of allergy pills. Also I think I sprained my toe and it’s been hurting when I walk so that’s been on my mind. But again I won’t make excuses I will just work to deliver results. Also I don’t want to jinx myself but… I love the board this weekend *knocks on wood*, I’m seeing a lot of winners out there. Lets make some picks.
HOU (-1.5) vs JAC (O/U 47.5)
Everyone is talking about teams going to London for the first time and this is the Texans first time. Because of this I like the under here, I think the time change will keep this one low and will stay under just like last week. Pick: Under 47.5 Prediction: HOU 21 JAC 17
CHI @ PHL (-4) (O/U 41.5)
Nothing can get a quarterback back on track quite like taking on the Eagles secondary. I think the Eagles will struggle to contain Allen Robinson. Look for Trubisky to run more than he has in recent weeks and look for Nagey to get Montgomery involved early and often. If the Eagles can avoid turning the ball over then they should be able to put some points on the board. The Bears have been average in terms of covering TE’s so look for the Eagles to get Ertz and Goddertt the ball. Everyone is on the Under so I’m going Under. Pick: Over 41.5 Prediction: PHL 24 CHI 21
