Are people even still watching football? It’s very clearly basketball season and we should all focus our energy on the 2020 NBA Champion Philadelphia 76ers. Who cares the Jets are the worst team in the league. Who cares Sam Darnold is regressing under “QB guru” Adam Gase. Who cares their defense is a joke. Who cares their CEO refuses to take any accountability for the teams 1-7 start. Who cares, we are on to the Sixers.
The Sixers have a matchup tonight against the surprising Phoenix Suns who are sitting at an impressive 4-2 without Ayton. With the NBA I love just living in prop bet land. First prop I like is Ben Simmons Over 17.5 PTS (-127). The Suns don’t really have a true rim protector and with Embiid out it will allow Simmons to flourish in the paint. Next one I like is Aaron Baynes UNDER 11.5 PTS (+105). Al Horford will be matched with him much of the night and I will take Al in that match up every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Next I like the Sixers to cover the 1 point spread. The Sixers are coming off a big comeback win in Portland and I think that momentum will continue in this one.
