There is nothing better than the last two weeks of the NFL Season when they start playing on Saturday. College football is great and all but nothing beats two straight days of wall to wall NFL action. Also we actually have some pretty good matchups on the first Saturday. So make sure all your Christmas shopping is done by 1 pm and settle in for two straight days of betting.

Despite missing their two best WRs the Bucs opened this game as 1 point favorites. It has since moved the complete opposite direction and the line sits at HOU -3. While I do think Houston wins, I don’t know if they cover the three, especially with a team who likes to pass like the Bucs. However am I going to bet on the Tampa Bay Bucs? Against a team with something to still play for? The answer is no. So that leaves us with the total to bet on. I, along with 80% of other bettors, love the over. The Bucs secondary is terrible and like I mentioned they can score points in bunches. Also you can account on the Texans to have a few short fields as Jameis is good for at least 2 picks a game. Pick: Over 50.5

I think there is really only one bet in this game that makes any sense and that’s the Under. Both teams have great defenses and suspect offenses. Josh Allen was knocked out of the first matchup with a concussion. I don’t see Buffalo putting up more than 17 against this Pats team. I also don’t see New England scoring more than 17 so I think the winner here will be whichever team gets there first. This is one where it didn’t really matter what the total was set at I was taking the under. Pick: Under 37.5

If the Rams want to have any chance of making the postseason they have to win out and get some help from around the league. The 49ers are coming off a bad loss to Atlanta the previous week and the Rams are coming off an ass whooping by the Cowboys. This was the second time this year where a team was able to dismantle the Rams by just jamming the ball down their throats. The Niners have been the second best team this year in terms of running the ball and I think they will control this one throughout. Look for the 49ers to put the Rams out of their misery and eliminate them from the playoffs. Pick: SF -7
