Rich Homie John Week 11

The 0-9 Jets are on the road this week in Los Angeles to take on the 2-7 Chargers. Quite a lot to be excited about for this one. Two teams that will likely be making changes at Head Coach this offseason.

All but one of the Chargers games this year have been decided by one possession. The Jets coming off of a bye week as +10-point underdogs to this iteration of the Chargers is confusing. Flacco looked moderately respectable on Monday Night Football before the bye week. Aside from Darnold, the Jets are starting to get healthy. It will be fun to watch Mekhi Becton impose his will on Joey Bosa all afternoon. I need to see Denzel Mims get a dozen targets and Perine get double digit touches. No doubt Justin Herbert is going to rack up the stats. Jets fans will envy how legit he looks as a rookie while Darnold is playing like an undrafted free agent.

The Chargers are simply not a good enough football team to be a double-digit favorite. This should be 7.5 point spread. Take the Jets and the points. This should be a fairly close game in the fourth quarter.

Pick: Jets +10
Big Hank’s long-shot of the week: Alternate line Jets +3.5 +220
