Nothing better than a full Saturday of Football followed by a Sunday full of football. We have some good games today with real playoff implications and also some stinkers. While some teams are fighting to stay alive some teams are counting down the days till the season is over. For teams already looking forward to the draft they can take some joy in watching the incoming draft class play. Watching Clemson dominate Notre Dane has me dreaming of Trevor Lawrence in Green and White and better things to come. Alright let’s get to some picks, we went 1-2 yesterday but that can be attributed to the Packers being gutless losers who can’t cover 9.5 after leading by 18 at half.
CHI @ MINN (-2.5)
Man I have to be honest I hate the fact that I’m betting the Bears but it’s where I’m at in Week 15. The Bears offense has looked dynamic since the return of Mitch and they have an easy matchup against a bad Vikings defense. The Bears also have the defense to slow down Dalvin Cook which is the easiest way to stop Minnesota. I could look like an idiot when the Bears look like shit and lose by 29 but I am riding with Chicago.
Pick: CHI + 2.5
DET @ TENN (O/U 53.5)
Both of these teams love to give up points and have the ability to score points. Derrick Henry might put up 300 against the Lions defense. Henry is trying to get to 2000 yards and this game will be just what the doctor ordered. The Lions defenders will have to desire to tackle Henry and he will run rampant. Take the over based on Henry getting 4 scores on his own.
Pick: Over 53.5
TB @ ATL (+6.5)
The Bucs beat up on bad teams and the Falcons are a bad team. The Bucs know they need to win out to guarantee their playoff spot and lucky for them they have the Falcons 2/3 weeks to finish the year. The Falcons are looking at a tumultuous offseason so they will be playing hard as none of their spots are guaranteed with a new regime coming in. That will still not be enough as the talent difference between these teams is too great.
Pick: TB -6.5
SF @ DAL (+4.5)
While both these teams seasons are all but done I expect Shannahan to be able to get more from his team than Mike can. Couple that with the fact the Cowboys can’t stop the run leads me to like the 49ers here.
Pick: SF -4.5
CLE @ NYG (O/U 44)
The Browns put up 42 on a good Ravens defense they can put up 30 on the Giants. Add in the fact the Browns are likely to give up 20 each week has me liking the over.
Pick: Over 44
Let’s make some Christmas cash.
