Jets week 2
Home opener for the Jets today and the parking lot is alive with energy. You would not know that the Jets are coming off a 2-14 campaign and +6 point underdogs from the atmosphere this morning.
The Jets came out flat in the first half last week before making some 2H adjustments and coming within an onside kick attempt at a chance to steal a win. Everyone makes a big deal out of Belichick and his 21-6 record against rookie QBs. Let’s not forget that many of those 21 wins came with Tom Brady leading the charge. This is rookie Mac Jones’ first career road game. Let’s not anoint him as the next Tom Brady quite yet.
Jets getting six here is frankly disrespectful. That’s implying a 9 point spread on a neutral field? The Jets have a few personnel issues like the Patriots but these are professional football players we’re talking about here. Take the points
