Alright with the Thursday and Monday night winners we are finally starting to build some momentum. We have 2 weeks of film on teams and can start forming betting opinions on them to start picking winners. Having said that let’s get right into the picks.
IND @ TENN (-4.5)
Even with Carson Wentz playing I still love the Titian’s here. Wentz sprained both his ankles last week and has looked all around not great this year. Now he hasn’t looked as bad as he did last year but still not good. The Titian’s offense found its footing last week and I think they will be able to control this game. Henry looks to be in mid season form and I don’t expect the Colts to slow him down.
Pick: TENN -4.5
MIA @ LV (-3.5)
Now I am still not a believer in the Raiders but I am also not a believer in betting on Jacoby Brisett. Raiders come in 2-0 and having looked really good to start the season. Derek Carr is playing well and their defense has been a surprisingly okay unit. I don’t think Carr will continue playing as well as he has but he won’t need to cover today. This is a bet against Jacoby game.
Pick: LV -3.5 As
7 Spread Teaser
Now I know last week I said I would be teasing the two highest favorites weekly. But considering one of the teams that is highest favored is the Broncos that will not be happening this week. Instead as the heading suggests we will be doing a Tease with all the teams who are seven or 7 1/2 point favorites. It will be a 7 point tease for all of the favorites. This takes us to Buffalo +0, Baltimore -.5, Cleveland -.5, and Arizona -.5. I just do not see where this teaser loses. Add on the fact that it’s +185 odds and this is a must bet.
GB @ SF (O/U 50.5)
We started the year with every prime time game going over, but that streak was stopped by Davis Mills and Sam Darnold. I think we get back into the prime time overs tonight. The 49ers made a play this offseason for Rodgers and obviously didn’t get him and now have Jimmy G and Trey Lance. Rodgers and the Packers got back on track offensively against a bad Lions team and I think they can keep it going tonight. The Packers defense is still very suspect and I think will struggle against the 49ers. Give me over 50.5 to finish the weekend strong.
Pick: Over 50.5
