Right now there’s a trend in the NFL where a team who does not cover the spread of the previous week going up against a team that did cover the previous week are covering at an astonishing rate this year. Going into week 10 it was something like 68% and I think those games went 6-1 last week. I can’t find the exact numbers but the fact I haven’t been betting this trend all year is a tragedy to my bankroll. Tonight we have another one of these games. We have the Patriots coming off a beat down of the Browns. And we have the Falcons coming off a shit pumping from the Cowboys. We’re going to stick with the trend and take the Falcons +6 1/2 tonight. Before the game against the Cowboys the Falcons were actually playing pretty good football. Their offense was playing well and the defense was doing enough to win the games. The patriots come in riding a high offensively and their defense has looked extremely good. I think the Patriots come back down to earth tonight and I think the Falcons get back to playing solid Football.
