Both teams get back their starting Quarterbacks back for this AFC South matchup. Big Dick Nick comes back after breaking his collarbone and will look to prove his contracts worth. I think both teams will lean heavily on the run game and I expect Jacksonville to have more success in doing so. Look for this to be low scoring game with the better defensive team winning. I think that team is the Jags, I think they win outright, but as always we will take the points. Pick: JAC +2.5 Prediction: JAC 21 IND 17
BUF (-7) @ MIA (O/U 40.5)
The Jets loss isn’t looking as bad after Miami went out and beat the Colts last week. Their defense has played well the past two weeks and I expect that to continue against Josh Allen. The Dolphins will struggle to score in this one against a good Bills defense which is why I think the Under is the play. If it wasn’t for two garbage time TDs in their previous match up then that game would have stayed under. Pick: Under 40.5 Prediction: BUF 17 MIA 14
NO (-4.5) @ TB
I’m honestly a little surprised to see this line so low. Maybe Vegas is doubting the Saints after losing to the Falcons but still to be less than a TD favorite to the Bucs is a slap in the face. Pick: NO -4.5 Prediction: NO 31 TB 17
Onto the lightning round of picks.
HOU +4.5: The Ravens and Lamar Jackson have got all the hype this year but Desean Watson is quietly putting together and MVP caliber season. Everyone and their mother is putting money on the Over which is causing me to shy away from that and take the Texans.
CINN +12.5: this is a game that opened at Oak -8 and has since moved 4.5 points. That’s a crazy amount of points, take CINN for that fact alone.
CHI @ LAR Over 40.5: This is one where everyone is so on the under it makes me love the over. Maybe a defensive TD or two and it’s hitting easy.
